Row

The months come in the same order every year, and knowing that order helps with birthdays, holidays and the calendar on the classroom wall. Every row on these sheets is a short piece of the year. With Ask set to Missing month, the row shows four months in order with one empty box, and the child writes the month that belongs there. With Before and after, the row is a sentence: The month after May is blank.

The year goes round, so a row can run from November into January. At the top of the page a word box lists all twelve months, so the child can find the right one and copy its spelling. Set Word box to No word box when the child knows the months by heart. Choose four, six or eight rows on a page.

The answer key lists every missing month. Press New sheet for new rows. Every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
