Words like in, on and under tell where things are. Children use them all day, but reading and writing them is new. Every box on these sheets shows a small scene: a cat in a box, a dog under a table, an apple on the box. Under the picture is a sentence with a missing word, The cat is ___ the box, and three words to choose from. The child looks at the picture, circles the right word and writes it on the line.
Set Words to in · on · under for the first three, or to 5 words to add next to and above. Things that fly, like a balloon, a kite or a butterfly, are the ones above the box, so every picture makes sense. Choose four or six pictures on a page. You can also tap a picture on the sheet and pick a different word for it.
The answer key gives every word. Press New sheet for new pictures. Every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
