Every box on these worksheets shows one number in the middle and an empty box on each side. The child writes the number that comes just before it and the number that comes just after it — one less and one more. It is counting in order, taken one step at a time, and it gets children ready for adding and taking away one.
Set Numbers to 10, 20 or 100, and Ask for both numbers, only the number before, or only the number after — then each box has two boxes instead of three. The numbers stay inside the range you pick: on a sheet to 20 the answers go from 0 to 20, and 0 is the number that comes before 1.
Click any box to put another number in the middle, lock the boxes you like, and pressNew sheet for the rest. The answer key prints on a second page only when you ask for it, and every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
