Cutting with scissors builds the small hand muscles a child needs for writing, and it only gets easier with practice. Every row on the sheet has a pair of scissors, a bold dashed line and a picture at the other end. The child cuts along the line from the scissors to the picture. The lines go from a plain straight line to a zigzag, a wave, scallops, steps and loops, and each one has its own color so a child can tell the rows apart.
Set Lines to Easy for straight lines, zigzags and waves, to Harder for scallops, steps and loops, or to Mixed for all six kinds. A kind that comes up twice on one sheet has smaller or bigger zigzags, waves or loops. Choose four, five or six rows. No picture repeats on a page.
Print on plain paper with child-safe scissors; a slightly heavier paper is easier to cut. Press New sheet for new lines and pictures. There is no answer key. Every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
