After single letters and words, the next step in handwriting is a whole sentence. Every row on this sheet shows a picture and a short sentence about it, like I see a cat, printed in clear letters. Below it the same sentence is written in dots to trace, with a capital letter at the start and a period at the end, and then there is an empty line where the child writes the sentence alone.

Set Sentences to Short for three or four words, or Long for four or five. The sentences use the first sight words — I, see, the, like, can, look, here, my, we — together with simple picture words, so the child can read what they write.

Press New sheet for new sentences. There is no answer key: every row shows exactly what to write. Every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
