A sentence is more than a list of words: the order matters. Every row on these sheets has a picture and the words of a short sentence in mixed-up boxes, like see, cat., I, a. The child reads the words, puts them in order and writes the sentence on the handwriting lines: I see a cat. The picture says what the sentence is about, and the sentences use only words a beginning reader can read.
Two small clues help: the first word starts with a capital letter, and the last word carries the period. Set Sentences to Short for sentences like I like the dog, or Long for sentences like Look at the big kite. Choose four or five sentences on a page; no picture repeats on a sheet.
The answer key gives every sentence in the right order. Press New sheet for new sentences and a new mix of words. Every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
