Color by number turns number recognition into a picture. The sheet is a grid of 144 squares with a number in each one, and the color key at the top says which crayon goes with which number: 1 is blue, 2 is red, 3 is yellow. The child colors every square by its number, and a picture slowly appears — a house with a red roof, a rocket in the night sky, a fish in the sea, a butterfly or a rainbow. Every picture uses five or six colors and fills the whole grid, background too.
Set Show to Numbers for plain numbers, or to Addition for a small sum in every square, like 2+3: the child adds first, then colors by the answer. The color key names every color in words, so the sheet works printed in black and white as well.
Press New sheet for another picture, or click the grid to pick one. The answer key prints on a second page only when you ask for it and shows the finished picture. Every sheet prints on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
