Comparing numbers means deciding which of two numbers is bigger, or whether they are the same. Each box on the sheet shows two numbers with an empty box between them, and the child writes the sign: greater than when the left number is bigger, less than when it is smaller, and equal when both are the same. About one box in five is equal, so the child has to look every time.
Set Show to Numbers to print digits, or to Dots to print two groups of dots in rows of five that the child counts before choosing the sign — a good first step before comparing written numbers. Numbers to 10 or 20 sets how large the numbers get; every number is at least one.
Click any box to change the number on the left or on the right, lock the boxes you like, and press New sheet for the rest. The answer key prints on a second page only when you ask for it, and every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
