Picture

A symmetry grid is half a picture: the squares on the left side of the dashed line are colored in, the squares on the right are empty. The child colors the right side so that it matches the left, square by square, like a mirror. The finished picture — a heart, a rocket, a cat, a crown — is the reward. It builds careful counting, left and right, and the pencil control of coloring inside small squares.

Set Level to Easy for a 6 by 6 grid with big squares, Medium for 8 by 8, or Hard for 10 by 10 with more detail. Every picture is exactly the same on both sides, so there is one right answer. Choose one big grid on a page, two, or four smaller ones.

Press New sheet for other pictures, or click a grid to pick a different picture. The answer key prints on a second page only when you ask for it and shows every finished picture with the number of squares to color. Every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
