A picture graph turns counting into a picture of the numbers. The top of each graph is a jumble of three or four kinds of pictures. The child counts each kind, colors one box in its column for every picture, and then looks at the columns to answer two questions: which kind is there most of, and which kind is there fewest of. The pictures are circled right on the sheet.
Set Kinds to 3 or 4 kinds of pictures and Up to to 6 or 10 pictures of one kind — the columns are that tall. Choose one big graph per page, or two smaller ones. No two kinds ever have the same number of pictures, so there is always one answer to each question.
Press New sheet for a new jumble of pictures, or Shuffle a single graph. The answer key prints on a second page only when you ask for it and lists how many of each kind there are. Every sheet prints in color or black and white, on US Letter or A4. Nothing to sign up for.
