Looking at two pictures and finding what is not the same is one of the best ways to practise looking carefully. Both pictures on the sheet are made of the same ten things: a kite, a balloon, a cat, a house. In the bottom picture something has changed. A picture may have a different color, it may be replaced by a different picture, or it may be gone. The child compares the pictures place by place and circles every difference in the bottom one.

Set Differences to 3, 4 or 5. With three differences there is always one of each kind: one color, one missing picture, one different picture. The pictures that change color are the ones where the change is easy to see even on a black and white print, which prints in gray. Each answer key says exactly what changed, like balloon color or cat missing.
